Working with me
How I communicate:
I’m warm and expressive by default. I might reach for an emoji to punctuate a thought. I value directness, but directness doesn’t have to mean brevity. I love to have thoughtful conversations for as long as they are productive.
How I share knowledge:
If I know something, I want everyone else to share that same knowledge. I believe documentation isn’t a chore; it’s a gift to your future self and everyone who comes after you. If I don’t know something, I’m not afraid to ask. Unasked questions are missed opportunities to teach and to learn. I’m also the teammate who remembers the weird edge case from two years ago; I’ve been called the team archivist before.
How I give and receive feedback:
Direct but kind, and always in service of making the work better. Some friction is good — I appreciate being challenged and having that openness reciprocated.
How I solve problems:
I work best when I’m close to the problem. I like hands-on troubleshooting, direct customer conversations, and discovering all the facts. I also love building the processes that make each of those things more effective over time. I have a strong bias toward action; when something is broken, my instinct is to move. That instinct has served me well in high-pressure situations, but I’ve learned that the first solution you see isn’t always the best one. I’m actively building the discipline of slowing down just enough to make sure the solution I’m building or suggesting isn’t just the quickest one, but the one that delivers the most value over time.

Fun Facts
I used to perform improv, stand-up comedy, and spoken word
I love performing; however, it turns out — I value getting to sleep early more these days.
Performing solo or with others onstage was incredible. I cherished the vulnerability, creativity, and community found in these spaces. I grew so much during this period of my life, which I believe is only on pause.
Before tech, I had a career tending and managing a bar, and assisting and coordinating film locations
There is no SLA greater than a horseshoe bar 6-deep of kids home from college on Thanksgiving week or a production crew with a line-by-line budget and firm studio deadlines. Both roles taught me the same things: manage competing priorities in real time, keep your composure when it’s chaos, and have fun — we’re making something special! I have a well-honed sense of urgency, and these roles provided me with the best foundation for managing a queue of any size or intensity.
